Originates from the Rhone region of France. Challenging grape to grow, especially susceptible to wind injury and powdery mildew. Ripens late, can achieve 25 brix. Primarily used for blending to add aromatics, elegance, acidity and aging potential.

Note: For deeper soils it is recommended to graft Roussanne on 3309.
