Tempranillo
A Spanish variety that is an early ripener. Lower acids and sugars. Can produce high PH wines. It is often used to create full bodied wines. With a flavor profile of: berries, plum, tobacco, vanilla, leather and herbs. Can be aged in oak for a few years, but not necessary.
