In Italy, Falanghina is the labeled wine however there are two cultivars permitted to use that name which leads to confusion; Falanghina Flegrea and Falanghina Beneventana. They are often blended together instead of vinified as a varietal wine.

Thrives in Mediterranean like climates; berries are mid to late ripening.

Wine Characteristics

Light to medium bodied with citrus blossom and pine aroma, pear and apple on the palate with medium to high acid.
