Viticulture Characteristics
Bud breaks approximately 10 days after Chardonnay, and ripens one week later. Tends to be less productive than Sauvignon Blanc with smaller bunches and berries. Acids are lower, and sugars are higher than Sauv Blanc
Wine Characteristics
Similar to Sauvignon Blanc but tends to be less aromatic and fuller bodied; ripe fruit flavors of mango and melon as well as citrus notes.
