Viticulture Characteristics
Vigorous and easy to cultivate; late to bud but early to ripen with golden or copper berries. Despite its thick skins, berries are prone to botrytis.
Wine Characteristics
When vinified as a dessert wine such as in Sauternes, the wines show flavors of peach, nectarine, mango, and citrus. As a dry wine, they are often blended with Sauvignon Blanc as it lacks acidity
